You can delete your Craver account at any time. This page explains how to request deletion, what happens to your data, and how to reach us if you need help.
1. How to Delete Your Account
Option A — In the app
Open Craver, go to Settings → Account → Delete Account, then confirm. You may be asked to enter your password to verify it's you.
Option B — By email
If you can't delete in the app, email us from the address on your account with the subject "Delete my Craver account". We will verify your identity and process the request.
2. What Happens When You Delete
- Your account is permanently closed and you can no longer sign in.
- Your profile information (email, display name, avatar) is deleted or anonymized.
- Your uploaded inputs and generated Assets are removed from active storage.
- Paid credits or active subscriptions are canceled; we do not keep a balance for a deleted account.
3. Data We Keep
For legal, safety, and security reasons, some records may be retained for a limited period after deletion, including:
- Logs needed to detect and prevent abuse, fraud, or violations of our zero-tolerance CSAE policy.
- Records required by law (for example, tax or accounting records related to past payments).
Such retained data is minimized, protected, and deleted once the retention period expires.
4. Before You Delete
Deletion is permanent. If you only want a break, you can simply stop using the app, or contact us to download your data first. Once your account is deleted, we generally cannot recover it.
